Siemens Business Services has signed a three year contract with Eutelsat for satellite capacity over the UK, continental Europe and the Middle East on behalf of the BBC. The contract guarantees Siemens long term lease of 72MHz on Eutelsat's Atlantic Bird 1 satellite for the BBC. more ››

SES Astra has secured a long-term contract to provide British Sky Broadcasting with three additional 28.2° E transponders. Eutelsat and NHK, Japan's national public broadcaster today announced the signature of a contract for a full transponder on the ATLANTIC BIRD™ 3 satellite for the duration of February 2006.
