Three Discovery channels are no longer available on frequency 11,117 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 3/4 on Hot Bird 6 (13°E) satellite. Instead of Polish versions of Discovery Travel & Living, Discovery World and Discovery Science available in Cyfra+ and Cyfrowy Polsat packages, two channels from N platform appeared - KidsCo and Movies 24 Eastern Europe. On 3rd of October 2008 "Telewizja na Karte" (smart-card television) offer was launched on Hot Bird 13E. Sets with TehniSat Digit S2 CD receivers as well as smart-cards alone can now be activated. A new channel of ITI Group, TVN Warszawa, will be launched on 17th of November 2008. Few days ago its test transmission on Hot Bird 13E has been broken due to the start of "Telewizja na karte". TVN Warszawa has been replaced by Disney Channel. more ››

TVN has finally decided to cease its analogue transmission available on Hot Bird 13E, transponder 16 at 11,506 GHz, pol. V. Signal will be ceased before Christmas. Available information says that analogue TVN is received by 200,000 viewers but it dosen't seem to be the truth because majority of Polish analogue viewers has already chosen one of Polish digital platforms. more ››

On 11th of September 2008 at noon TVP Historia has joined to the offer of Polish n platform. This means that the youngest Polish digital platform is offering to its subscribers every Polish Television (TVP) channel. more ››

After TVP 1 and TVP 2 Polish platform n will also take third TVP channel from Cyfra+ - TVP Info. Conax system is already added and as in the previous case two CAID: 0B00 and 0B01. In addition, TVP Info is also encrypted in Seca MediaGuard (for Cyfra+) and Viaccess PC 3.0 (announced TP platform). more ››

The Disney Channel has began test transmissions in Conax CAS7. It means that this channel will be added to the offer of digital platform n. It is not known, however, when it's going to happen. Polish platform n has surprised its subscribers by the addition of two erotic movies to its Premiery VOD offer. Both movies are available in high definition. Two day access costs 11 PLN. There is no satellite channel with erotic movies in HD and n's offer is the only legal way for watching these movies in high definition. more ››

On 7th June 2008 European footbal championships begin and for this reason German public broadcaster's stations ARD and ZDF will be moved on Polish platform n channel list to numbers 58 and 59. It will give n subscribers an easier access to Euro 2008 transmissions. more ››
