Over 300.000 Polish n subscribers
"n", the youngest Polish digital platform, already had over 300,000 subscribers in the end of the first quarter of 2008. That information has been published in the ITI Group's report for 2007. It proves that many new subscribers join "n" platform on a regular basis and their numer is constantly increasing. ››
Cyfra+ after the transponder changes
Polish digital platform Cyfra+, in accordance with SATKurier.pl announcements, has introduced many changes on its transponders in the night of 7th April 2008. Changes concerned Hot Bird 8 (13E) transponders. This is the list of all changes, with specific technical parameters, for viewers who are not using platform's terminals. ››
TVP Sport in HD?
TVP, Polish public bradcaster, announced that its first HD channel TVP Sport HD will debut this summer and will operate separetly from TVP Sport, current sports channel. TVP Sport HD probably will be broadcast only in DVB-T test's transmitters. ››
Euro 2008 in HD on NTV Plus
Russian digital platform NTV Plus (Eutelsat W4 - 36°E and Bonum 1 - 56°E) has gained broadcasting rights to present football championships Euro 2008 in HD. The event will be transmitted on HD Sport. Polsat Sport HD will broadcast the event in Poland. ››

At the beginning of September TVN 7 introduced new graphics and a new line-up. One of the changed elements of graphics is a new logo. TVN 7 changes viewer profile and practically it is now a new channel with new programming.
Logo, prepared by the German company Velvet, focuses on the number 7 in a white-violet colour. Violet is also the dominant colour in TVN 7 graphics.
Monday - melodramas, after 20:05. Evenings full of passion and meetings with the women's world cinema.
Tuesday - old school movies, after 22:00. It brings back brightness of the legendary films of past decades.
Wednesday - dramas, at 20:05. Cinema hits, popular titles and well-known actors.
Thursday - sensations, after 20:00. Sensations, crime stories and sction movies.
Monday to Friday
Evenings of comedy series starting at 18.30.
Saturday - the funniest day of the week offering comedies.
Sunday - family day - on Sunday afternoons TVN 7 presents movies for children, comedies, action, westerns and classics.
